Jennifer Lawrence has denied rumors that she got into a big argument with director David O. Russell while on the set of their movie 'Joy'.
The 24-year old actress took to her offical Facebook page to address the rumors. She wrote "Hey Guys! Jen here! I know I do not go on here a lot because I could barely work email but there has been a terrible rumor going around within the last 24 hours and I would like to clear it up. David O' Russell is one of my closest friends and he is someone I have a very nice collaborative relationship with. I adore him and he does not deserve any of this tabloid malarky."

The rumors started when someone who was working on the set of the film told entertainment website TMZ, that there was indeed a screaming match but it was only method acting because Russell was helping Jennifer get riled up before shooting a scene wherein the character she plays loses her cool.
But another source within the Fox family says that Miramax boss Harvey Weinstein arrived on set unannounced but was told to leave by Russell a few minutes after he reached the make-up trailer. The source also says that Russell also had an argument with a Fox executive but denied reports that he made the female executive cry.
Lawrence was photographed on her way to the set location in Boston just two days after the supposed argument. Joy is the third film that Russell and Lawrence have worked on together, it tells the true story of Joy Mangano, a single mother who invented the Miracle Mop.
