Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney may have failed and given up his fight for the presidency, but he takes up another fight in the boxing ring against professional boxer Evander Holyfield.

On Monday, Nick Shwartz via USA Today reported that Romney will be fighting former world heavyweight champion Holyfield on May 15 in Salt Lake City.

The fight will not be considered a professional fight, with the decision not going on either man's official record, as the event is for a charity event. The bout takes place for CharityVision, a group that helps people with sight impairment.

Paul Rolly of the Salt Lake Tribune reported on Romney's comments on the fight.

"It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious. It won't be much of a fight. We'll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit," Romney said.

The 68-year old will be stepping into the ring with a fighter who has beaten fearsome fighters like Mike Tyson and George Foreman throughout his impressive career.

For the sake of hyping up the fight, the two men should be compared and stacked up to one another to give a better idea of how the fight would go.

Romney is coming in at 6-foot-2 and weighed in at 185 pounds. He takes on the 52-year old former Olympian who, at last count, stood at 6-foot-1 and is roughly 222 pounds heavy.

Holyfield has been in the boxing game for a long time. He has 54 fights to his name, has beaten Tyson twice (though he lost an ear), and is the only four-time heavyweight champion in history.

The guess - rather the hope - for the fight will be that Holyfield will take it easy on the former Governor. Otherwise, Romney could be in a lot of trouble, which would then lead to Holyfield being in a lot of trouble.
