Duchess Kate Makes Final Public Appearance Before Giving Birth

The 33-year old Duchess met Baroness Doreen Lawrence and toured around the centre.  She also met the centre's Charitable Trust members and staff members.

The royal couple was greeted by St Martin-in-the-Field High School choir upon their arrival at the centre.

"What a welcome! That was beautiful," said Prince William after the all-girl choir gave a short performance.

Inside the centre, the royal couple mingled with the centre's staff members and volunteers. They also had short talks with the people present in the centre at that time, including pupils from the Harris Academy in Greenwich. These pupils participated in a law workshop with the Stephen Harwood lawyers.

One of the kids that the royal couple talked with was 14-year old AJ Banjo. AJ told the Duchess that his visit at the centre was very interesting.

"It gave us a chance to look at all the different areas of law. I personally am thinking of going into commercial law," AJ said to the royal couple.

Prince William was also amused at the candour of other pupils, especially on their views about having law practice as a career.

The couple also visited the charity Excel Project (XLP) that helps youth from different areas of London to have a good future ahead of them. The couple was toured by the XLP officials and met some of the project's youth benefactors.

The Duchess of Cambridge is excited to deliver her second child on April 25, which would make the baby share the same birthday with actors Jim Carrey, Renee Zellweger and Al Pacino.

The soon-to-be-born royal baby will bear the zodiac sign Taurus.
