The Wisconsin Badgers squad will face-off against the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats in a game this Saturday.

Ever respectful --- but not fearful --- of the Wildcats' abilities, the Badgers believe they have what it takes to place the first blemish on their record. Wildcats Head Coach John Calipari admitted it himself during the post-game press conference against the Notre Dame that almost beat them.

"We're undefeated, but we're not perfect," said Calipari.

Looking at the Wildcats, they really seem to be giants in the land of men. Boasting nine McDonald's All-American players, a record of 38-0, and leading the country in scoring margin at 20.8 points per game, they stand as the team to beat.

The Wildcats are on their way to having an undefeated Division I season, only done previously by Indiana in 1976.

If any team is game enough to answer the challenge of facing these behemoths, it is the Badgers.

Going in to the game, FOX Sports Wisconsin writer Jesse Temple says that the team will not need superpowers to dethrone the Wildcats. The only thing they will need to do is play the same intelligent basketball that they have been playing all year round.

The Badgers team has all the qualities needed to beat the Wildcats. First of all, the Badgers are rife with experienced players and coaches that would contribute to their smart play.

Their team also features a dynamic rotation featuring two fifth-year seniors (John Gasser and Duje Dukan), two fourth-year seniors (Traevon Jackson and Frank Kaminsky), a two-year starting junior (Sam Dekker), and two sophomores (Bronson and Hayes Koenig).

These players combined for 60 starts this season alone. A year ago, every one of the mentioned players scored against the Wildcats, with the Badgers losing the game by one point.

While capable, the Badgers are not looking through the Wildcats.

"We know what we're up against. Our guys are pretty smart guys," Badgers coach Bo Ryan said. "They know what it's going to take, a pretty perfect game or close to it, to get these guys."
