Hillary Rodham Clinton has announced her bid for the 2016 Presidential election, ending more than two years of speculation surrounding a second attempt at the Presidential spot.

The announcement was made through a two minute YouTube video, showing several middle class people and what is happening in their life, followed by Clinton appearance in the last 30 seconds to announce her bid.

"I'm getting ready to do something too," Clinton says. "I'm running for President."

"Americans have fought their way back from tough economic times, but the deck is still stacked in the favor of those at the top," she continues. "Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion."

The video is definitely a heartwarming move to the middle-class. It features a gay couple speaking of an upcoming marriage, a hot topic in the election with several Republicans going against same sex marriage, including Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.

It is Hillary Clinton's second attempt to grab the presidential spot, losing in 2008 to Barack Obama, who went on to win the presidential spot against Republican candidate John McCain, and in the following election against Mitt Romney.

Obama has endorsed Clinton's campaign already, claiming she would make an "excellent president." Other Democratic figures have announced support, with a campaign of US$2.5 million for Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina already filled with generous donations.

Hillary Clinton has the highest approval rating for Democratic nominees by quite a large majority, appealing heavily to women, equal rights activists, minorities and most of the middle class

Compared to other potential Democratic candidates like Martin O'Malley, Jim Webb, Lincoln Chafee and Joe Biden, her chances of winning the Democratic nomination are extremely high.

The hard part is beating the extensive Republican lineup for 2016, including two other potential female candidates in businesswomen Carly Fiorina and Sarah Palin who might attempt a run for the Republican nomination later this year, although neither are frontrunners like Clinton is for the Democratic nomination.

Hillary Clinton's announcement comes a few weeks after reports of a secret email account cropped up, followed by the removal of several hundred emails from Clinton's private server. The emails were from her time as state secretary, and left many wondering what secrets Clinton was hiding from the world --- Clinton claims those emails were personal.

Even though this might hurt the early stride, Clinton's campaign manager --- 35 year old technology and data analytics expert Robby Mook --- claims that it should be a smooth race to victory from here on out.

It is optimistic thinking considering the campaigns already being aired by Republican candidates, clearly focused on hurting Hillary Clinton's image before 2016.

Clinton will be heading to Iowa in the next month to start preparation for her campaign.
