Innovation is on China's present road towards the future as it looks to install 3D printers in more than 400,000 primary schools.
A 3D printed future looms over China's horizon as the government has revealed that within the next two years, most of the primary schools will be equipped with 3D printers.

Even with China's production of goods leading the world market by a large margin, the move shows that schooling is currently a focus for China that hopes to eclipse the other nation's youth education systems.
The news was revealed by 3Dprint.com, saying the next big project by China was confirmed when CEO of the Kinpo Group, Simon Shen, said the project would be underway in the next two years.
The Kinpo group stands as the parent company of the 3D printing centered company, XYZ Printing.
Initially, leading information technology research and advisory company Gartner held close tabs on 3D printing and its applications in the world. In a report released last October, Gartner predicted that about 200,000 3D printers are set to be shipped this year.
With the onset of China's latest educational project, however, this number may very well double the previous estimate. Little to no details on the program have surfaced.
It's assumed that XYZ Printing will be providing a sizable proportion of the needed printers to China's schools. Shen has already hinted that his company will be one of, if not the only, supplier for the project.
"It will be our growth driver of the third quarter and fourth quarters," Shen said.
The technology of the 3D printer is something right out of science fiction. As seen in popular franchise series like Star Trek, these printers are capable of printing most anything.
Looking ahead, this could be an invaluable tool for education, in both providing materials and models for study.
