Google Play Now Allows Pre-Register for Apps

Google Play has been trying its best to improve user experience. Recently, they launched a new option on the site where users can easily get an alert on featured applications that are not yet available in the market.
Once users are able to pre-register the app, they will get a notification once it hit the market and they can immediately buy or download all the apps. This setting is available for all application and games you find in Google Play.

Terminator Genisys: Revolution is the first application who has the pre-register option. But it doesn't indicate any information about the release date and how much it will cost. Though, just like the same interface on Google Play, there is an existing landing page that includes the specs like game format, description, screenshots and video clips of the apps. In this case, the pre-registration option is not only for users but for game developers also who would like to advertise their new application or game like the game developer, Glu Mobile. Just like seeing a movie with coming soon, you will also see it in all application in the play store.
But one problem with this change is that application developers gives an assurance to the users that the Android apps they uploaded will be released soon. So what happens next is that many popular apps leave users wondering when they are able to finally use the app.
For example, Twitter's Periscope, which is only available in iOS has been uploaded in Google Play announcing it's launching soon. But users are still clueless because there is no exact time stated on the description. They might end up waiting for nothing.
Asking people to preregister is already a proof that users can really have the time to download it, though nobody knows when. Aside from that, many complaints have been raised regarding the lack of information regarding device compatibility. So users have no idea whether it will work on their smartphones and other devices. It should also tell which country it is available, so it will not give false hope to others.
Hopefully, Google will add those details so it will get positive reviews from its users. Google hasn't given any comment yet regarding on its future plan for the play store.
