Apple believed that the way in creating better products is establishing a better manufacturing process through putting up environmental projects, such as solar farms, in order to lessen its carbon footprint which causes harm to the environment.
Apple is pulling all the stops to offer back to nature as it joins forces with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for a venture that will help secure China's forestlands, the organization reported on Monday.

This five-year collaboration plans to protect 1 million sections of forestlands on the planet's biggest manufacturer and consumer of paper products. It shows that the tech giant is taking responsibility in protecting the environment and running the operations of the company on a renewable energy that provides 100% efficiency.
The company has faith in achieving the idea that depending on renewable resources will protect forests that provide materials in creating their products.
"Climate change affects us all. We've made a big impact in our own facilities, and now we're tackling the global supply chain." Says Lisa Jackson, the vice president of Environmental Initiatives of Apple.
Apple establishes a solar farm in Hongyuan, China. This leads to an expansion in China's environmental projects. This drives the responsibility of forestry in China and it also highlights an environmental leadership in a new model as stated by Kerry Cesareo , the Senior Director of Forest for WWF-US.
Since it was Apple's second environmental initiative in China, in mid-April of 2015, the organization paired up with private individuals under China's energy sector to be able to launch the solar project.
Apple installed solar panels in two 20-megawatt solar farms to lessen the environmental impact of the company costing them $850 million in Sichuan Province. It will produce clean energy generating 80 million kilowatt per hour.
It is only suitable for Apple to give extra hand in protecting China's resources since most of its products and resources came from there. Not only does Apple care for the environment but also it gives back to people of the country by offering them more than 3 million jobs for its 19 corporate offices and 22 retail stores.
