'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' Launch Trailer Is Here; Watch The Dark, Action-Packed Launch Cinematic!

While the release of The "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is just a few days away, CD Projekt Red has unleashed the launch cinematic of the upcoming action role-playing video game set in an open world environment.
In the dark, violent yet spectacular launch cinematic, Geralt is seen slicing off heads with his sword as he blends in magic and item to his combat. Geralt knocking down the arrows shot at him with his sword is unquestionably the coolest moment, iDigitalTimes noted.

The second playable character joins in the action during the end of the trailer.
Ciri is not left out of the action either as she is spotted cutting a horde of men limb from limb. She warps around a corner around a small area, landing blows along the way in a way that's nothing short of cool.
Those who have played the previous Witcher games would have guessed right away that the redhead singing the sweet song was bad news. What is worth noticing is that Geralt has a tougher time doing this as opposed to things he has done in the past, according to PC Gamer.
The trailer released earlier this month, on the other hand, focuses on the monsters found across the Northern Kingdoms. The trailer shows how the creatures are designed along with dropping a few hints about how to fight them.
Watch the trailer below in case you missed it earlier.
Other hints include using Geralt's crossbow for ranged enemies and also enemies that live underwater including the Siren. A tactic that can be implemented against flying enemies is a spell that sort of creates a vacuum that pulls the enemies down to the ground. The best way to fight Drowners which are creepy monsters that live in swamps is to use fire attacks. Finally, when up against a werewolf, the best option is to use a bomb filled with silver powder as this eliminates the werewolf's ability to regenerate health.
No doubt, different tactics will be needed for different monsters, and if other variables are in place, different tactics will be needed for the same monsters as well.
The "Witcher 3" is slated to hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC next week.
