Despite the delayed release of "The Division," Ubisoft announces that another Tom Clancy game will hit the store in Oct. 13 in the form of the highly-anticipated "Rainbow Six Siege."
"Rainbow Six Siege" will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows platform. Ubisoft confirmed the games official release date to be Oct. 13 and added that those who will pre-order the game will be given exclusive rights to play the game's beta version, according Engadget.

According to PC Gamer, "Rainbow Six Siege" will be a highly strategic team-based first person shooter that features highly destructible maps and environment.
During the games official presentation Ubisoft said, "Players will engage in sieges, a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environment into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy position."
The game was first announced during the 2013 Electronics Entertainment Expo. Despite being labeled as the direct successor to the cancelled "Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6: Patriots," the two games have a lot of difference with each other. "Rainbow Six Siege" relies heavily on team-play and tactics, as demonstrated in a gameplay trailer that featured a hostage rescue scenario.
Ubisoft is expecting that "Rainbow Six Siege" will be the company's most successful release for 2015. Evidence to this effort is the copious amount of publicity devoted to the "Rainbow Six Siege." According to Gamespot, Ubisoft said that the game will surpass "Far Cry 4" in terms of number of units sold.
Currently, "Far Cry 4" has recorded at least seven million units sold since it was released. Games released on the "Rainbow Six" franchise usually records three million units sold, on average.
On the other hand, the release date for "The Division" delayed until 2016 due to some unconfirmed problem. Ubisoft did not provide a specific time frame as to when the game will be officially released.
