Eurogamer has reported that a secret cow level has been added to "Diablo III," in celebration of its third anniversary. The report stated that "Diablo III" players will have the chance to battle the bovine warriors from May 15 until May 21 only. The cow portal is said to be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 while owners of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 "Diablo III" Ultimate Evil Edition will receive a 100 percent increase in gold and XP.

Players of "Diablo III" in PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will encounter a bovine enemy named Herald of the Queen. It is said that once The Herald of the Queen is killed, a portal strangely named "Not The Cow Level" will appear, and upon entering, players will encounter hordes of bovine warriors and can collect a lot of Radiant and Resplendent chests.

In this Cow level, players will meet and battle the Cow Queen and deal with an Event. According to rumors, lucky players who get to enter the secret cow level should expect a plenty of mooing.

Interestingly, the previous "Diablo II" also has a secret Cow level although the player will have to battle with a Cow King.

Blizzard meanwhile, posted a Battle.net announcement that "Debunks the Cowspiracy," wherein the post said that gossips of rampaging "bipedal, bardiche-bearing bovines" are simply false. It said that anyone claiming the truth of such rumors are "full of bull" and "milking" the controversy.

The same post also advised players not to wander inside the wilds of Sanctuary from May 15 up to May 21. In the interest of safety, Blizzard warned gamers against entering strange portals they may encounter in the Sanctuary and adds that those who ignore the warning may encounter things that will threaten their well-being.
