Lindsay Lohan is brewing up an escape plan to Monaco in the event that she cannot fulfill her court-ordered community service by May 28, according to reports.

The troubled actress who is required to spend 125 hours of voluntary work due to her reckless driving case in 2012 is currently fulfilling her remaining hours at the Duffield Children's Center in Brooklyn, New York. However, several news reports claim that Lindsay Lohan is planning to fly to Europe and risk being a fugitive rather than go to jail.

Lindsay Lohan has already briefed her family and friends of her escape plan and about her intention to skip her California hearing. The Mean Girls actress apparently has a wealthy friend in Monaco who owns a hotel and has told her that she can stay for as long as she wants, TMZ detailed.

Lindsay Lohan also failed to impress the children's center's staff after she turned up two hours late on her first day there. The staff was reportedly "speechless" when she was not there on time especially since she announced to her fans via Twitter that she was already in New York and was "ready to help" on Monday, May 11.

Earlier this April, it was revealed that Lindsay Lohan had only completed 9 and a half hours of community service, which means that she has to complete 115 hours before May 28. If she fails to do so, prosecutors in Santa Monica say that Lohan is looking at a possible 6-month jail sentence.

Lindsay Lohan has not yet commented on the rumor. However, her father Michael Lohan, slammed the report as false and told Daily News that her daughter has no intention of leaving the U.S.

"Why would she come back and attempt to do it, if she plans on leaving?" said Lindsay Lohan's father.
