A multitude of law enforcement officers are trying to examine the post-shooting scene of a deadly scuffle among bikers last Monday in a Twin Peaks restaurant located in Waco, a city halfway between Austin and Dallas in Texas.
The brawl among rival biker gangs killed nine people and some of the casualties may have been wounded by the police officers, who responded immediately when the brawl happened, according to Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

"They started shooting at our officers and our officers returned fire," said Swanton, who elucidated that most of the casualties suffered from gunshot and stab wounds.
Swanton pointed out that the shootout was a 'gruesome scene.'
The confirmed number of casualties by police gunfire is still unknown, a law enforcement source cited that four of the dead bikers were shot by the police.
Swanton clarified that it has not been verified by them nor autopsies and medical results.
"The autopsies have not been completed and the information may very likely be incorrect," said Swanton, stating that the autopsy result will not come from him nor the Waco Police Department.
The investigators' objective is to finish the collection of evidence at the crime scene by Tuesday morning.
170 people involved in the shootout are charged with organized crime. This offense is grave in Texas and might result in death penalty if found guilty.
W.H. Peterson, Justice Of The Peace, executed an order that all people involved in the scuffle should be held on a $1 million bond.
Almost one-third of the people involved in the shooting are currently detained in the McLennan County Jail since Monday, according to KWTX-TV.
Prior to the shootout, police received a tip that the gang-recruiting event had the potential to grow violent last Sunday. 22 members of the police force, consisting of eighteen Waco officers and four state officers were assigned in the nearby vicinity when the violence occurred.
Swanton expressed that despite the fact that police was patrolling in the area, the bikers carried on with the shooting and violence. They continuously killed people and turned their guns towards the officers as well.
