He is known to be one of the best young skaters, who had the ability to skate any obstacles that hurdles his way.
Despite not being on tip top shape, he still ended up almost getting in the elimination round of games last year, X Games Austin explained.
It could be considered a lucky break for Majerus when Grant Taylor, who grabbed the 10th spot, didn't compete. He substituted at Taylor's place and qualified into the first up until the final round.
During his first run on the main event, he scored 85.66 which qualified for a bronze. He was adaptable due to the training he had in Minnesota.
He grew up going to 3rd Lair, which was an indoor skate part in Minneapolis suburb. The skate park had a wide range of obstacles that allowed him to be a well-rounded skate boarder.
He was turned into a pro by Flip Skateboarders after his performance on the 2014 X Games. Flip Skateboarders is one of Majerus sponsors including Adidas, Volcom and Spitfire Wheels, SpotSkateShop wrote on his profile.
Majerus would still be performing despite a serious leg injury that he gained last September 2014. He fractured his shinbone after landing a kickflip.
He explained that his first try was completely normal then on his second try his bone snapped and he collapsed.
The doctors didn't allow him to skate for three months after he was inserted with a plate and screw.
Despite these, a lump developed on his shin and he found it painful to skate. Upon examination, the medical staff found out that the lump was caused by an infection caused by the metal on his leg.
He was immediately scheduled into surgery and the metal was removed. His condition has now improved and now practices every day.
The X-Games will be held on June 4-7 at Austin, Texas.
