A user posted the pictures of their service notice by Hyundai following the installation of the update in their car at Android Police. The papers indicate at the readiness of the project. Besides, clarifications were also offered about the update being available only for 2015 model of Hyundai Sonata with the compatible infotainment system as mentioned above.
Since it is a big release, it will not be simulataneously available to all the customers as it is going to be rolled out in installments, wherein the first installment is expected to start from next week. The new update is expected to have some important features which will take the user experience to a whole new level.
However, local dealerships still await the arrival of the software via email pending which the update will be installed in all the relevant cars. The status of the update can be verified at one's local Hyundai dealership centre.
The launch of the $25,760 car saw the inclusion of the largest touch screen in a mid-range sedan with properly laid out menus, which will help users choose options with ease. In addition, options for a My Menu page will also be a part of the startup package, housing customizable menus for most used options, as per Business Insider.
It is said that a smart watch feature developed by the Blue Link Telematics also formed a part of the preliminary deal. It helps to connect the system with smart watch using an app while the Google search function works in tandem with the navigation system, hence, ensuring automatic crash notifications coupled with stolen vehicle assistance.
With its 185 horsepower 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine, Hyundai Sonata managed to impress consumers worldwide, according to Android Headlines.
