The long anticipated "Battlefield 4's" spring patch update will be arriving on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. It will be released for all platforms including PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Play Station 4 and 5. This update will be reintroducing the team Death Match and the Gun Master and will also be bringing 5 new weapons.

The fans sorely missed the Death Match team and Gun Master. They were imploring the developer to return them in new avatars to the game since a long time now.

The game's official developer DICE announced that "Battlefield" update will require a one hour downtime, which is divided into slots for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 devices accordingly, states Polygon. The downtime for these devices is as follows:

• Xbox One: Multiplayer - starts at 09.00 UTC and ends at 2.00 AM PDT.
• Xbox 360: Multiplayer - starts at 10.00 UTC and ends at 3.00 AM PDT.
• PS4: Multiplayer - starts at 11.00 UTC and ends at 4.00 AM PDT.
• PC: Multiplayer - starts at 08.00 UTC and ends at 1.00 AM PDT.
• PS3: Multiplayer - starts at 12.00 UTC and ends at 5.00 AM PDT.

DICE did not however, reveal any screenshots or names of the new weapons but they did mention that the new weapons will be editions of carbine, assault rifle, sidearm, LMG and PDW, as per reports by The PC Gamer. These weapons are also rebalanced for more effectiveness and range.

The fans are eagerly awaiting for the new update and the new weapons as well. They believe that their game would be enhanced and will have more interesting features after the update. Despite the downtime, they are eager to experience the full range of features and updates that the new spring patch would provide.

Gun Master, which became popular after the "Battlefield 3" series included a team of death match playlists, in which, the players were not allowed to choose their weapons. Only match makers were allowed to choose the armaments that all the players could use from the group of five classic weapons.

The "Battlefield 4" spring update patch will also be applying stability and net code fixes to the game, which saw its first launch in the month of October, 2 years ago.
