Prominent semiconductor manufacturer AMD has scored a major deal with Chinese tech giant Alibaba. The deal is the third partnership agreement that AMD has managed to close with Chinese firms as part of the company effort to expand its products and services.

AMD Releases Gaming Optimized AMD GPU-Pro Driver for Linux Distribution

AMD has been announced that its new graphics driver stack for the Linux operating system is finally ready to be rolled out to compatible systems. The new gaming-optimized AMDGPU-PRO diver supports Ubuntu version 16.04, and Valve has also added it to the latest version of SteamOS.
Leaked Slide Reveals AMD Zen CPU Performance

A presentation slide recently surfaced at an AMD investor's meeting and it shows the comparative performance between the company's highly-anticipated Zen processors and some earlier generation chips also from AMD. Based on the slides, it appears that the Summit Ridge processor performs almost twice as powerful as the Orichi processor.

The next generation "Radeon Fury" is in the news because of numerous leaked documents, pointing to a triple GPU release. It also has a number of variants, such as water cooled, air cooled, and the slimmed down version of the card. All of these are priced at a significantly lower price.
