'Dying Light' Update: New Patch 1.06 Revealed For PS4, Xbox One; Features Include 'Parkour Fever,' 'Bozak Horde,' More!

Good news gaming fans as new updates for Techland's open-world first person zombie game "Dying Light" have been revealed with new features, game modes, items and many more.

According to GearNuke, the new patch 1.06 for "Dying Light" has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The new update is now available for both consoles with an impressive download size of 2.85 GB.

GameNGuide reported that "Dying Light's" new patch 1.06 contains two DLCs named "Parkour Fever" and the "Bozak Horde" modes. Techland explained the two new game modes and their mechanics so that players are prepared once they download the new patch update.

"Parkour Fever" enables players to challenge other players online in 10 different parkour settings, while the "Bozak Horde" is a new storyline were in the protagonist must compete in a twisted game of life and death, which is run by a mysterious psychopath in the Harren stadium.

Aside from the new game modes, GamingBolt reported that the new patch will contain a new revamped Quarantine Zones, three new game trophies, brand new outfits and new Gold tier fantasy weapons.

It is said that there are also various balance changes within the game such as weapons, loot chest, shop prices, crafting and Gold tier drops. There is support added in the "Bozak Horde" DLC, wherein players can now listen to music while playing the game via Spotify playlists.

There is also new updates for the "Be the Zombie" mode as players can now "evolve" in a new mutation system, complete with three different evolutionary stages. Various other abilities have been fixed including a bug with the Ground Pound and Spit not properly sticking onto enemies.

Other system fixes for the patch 1.06 includes unlocking trophies issues, various stability improvements including co-op modes and weapon duplication exploits, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
