Tech giant Microsoft has signed new deals with several new manufacturers of tablets and other gadgets, with an agreement that both Microsoft Office and Skype apps will come pre-installed on a range of selected Android devices.
According to the official blog post written by MS corporate vice president and original equipment manufacturer Nick Parker, this is Microsoft's latest step to ensure that its mobile footprint far transcends traditional Windows devices. The tech giant aims to continue on the path of building a community of people who use Microsoft apps and programs on a wide array of devices. To this end, Microsoft has successfully re-engineered many of its flagship products for more modern applications.

The new partnerships that MS has built with these new manufacturers will continue the company's planned integration of Office apps in both iOS and Android. It is said that this is a profitable move for both Microsoft and its billions of users worldwide, because while this integration helps customers make transitioning from one gadget to the next easier and more convenient, it also allows the tech company to expand into pretty much every possible platform, ensuring that at least one of their key sources of cash flow will turn out to have the largest market share.
Microsoft reported that their deal began in March, when they announced and launched strategic agreements with global device manufacturers Samsung and Dell, as well as eight other regional OEMs, to have Microsoft Office and Skype come pre-installed in their new releases. As of today, 20 more companies joined in the advocacy, essentially advancing connectivity and convenience by a wide margin.
According to Techcrunch, the planned integration is not just localized, but rather global in scale, as Microsoft plans on targeting Asian, European, and Latin American markets as well. This only means that the club is only bound to get bigger, as Microsoft signs more deals with new manufacturers localized to these regions.
Microsoft further explained that the agreements they signed proves how the company is working to leverage the scale of the entire hardware ecosystem, as they work together to further enhance customer satisfaction. The tablet and smartphone manufacturers who have pledged their partnership with Microsoft include Axdia, Cube, DL, Haier, LG, Noblex, Pacific, Sony, Teclast, TMAX Digital and Prestigio.
