'Sword Art Online' Update: Bandai Announced 'Hollow Fragment,' 'Lost Song' Games For The PS4; Launch Date Set This Year!

Good news to all anime and gaming fans, two games from "Sword Art Online" anime series will be heading to the PlayStation 4 consoles, along with a possible release date.

Bandai Namco has announced that two "Sword Art Online" video games; "Hollow Fragment" and "Lost Song" will be available for the PS4, and they began streaming a new trailer for the two games, Attack of The Fanboy reported.

Crunchyroll has reported that players who already have their own copy of "SAO: Hollow Fragment" can transfer their game data from the PS Vita to the PS4. The website adds that all DLCs in the game will be available in the said console, and it is expected to have several inprovements in its graphics. "SAO: Hollow Fragment" will be available for download in the Summer of 2015.

As for the "Lost Song," it will have the same in-game features similar to its PS Vita counterpart, which includes flight explorations and combat, magic based attacks such as elemental spells and buffs, and other playable characters from the anime series such Asuna, Sinon, Lisbeth etc. The game takes place in the world of Alfheim Online, and it is curently available for the PS3 and PS Vita.

"SAO: Lost Song" will also be available in Europe, Middle East and Australia for both consoles, AnimeNewsNetwork reported. It is said that players can play the new characters, Seven and Rain, have new quest missions and boss battles, plus PvP events.

Citing multiple reports, the second "SAO" game will be released in the Fall of 2015 for the PS4 console on both retail and digital download, with English, German, Italian, French, and Spanish subtitles.

Based on the popular Japanese light novel by Reki Kawahara, "Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment" was released April last year for the PS Vita, while "Lost Song" was launched in Japan on March 26 for the PS Vita and PS3 consoles.
