China-headquartered Lenovo introduces new technology called ReachIt, which will focus on extending the existing capabilities of Windows 10 Cortana features that will introduce users to a new level of contextual search.

Lenovo's new technology will make it easier for users to search for their personal data across various platforms on any Lenovo tablet or PC, offering a level of seamless integration that will simplify operations. This new technology will be available for all Lenovo laptops powered by the Windows 10 operating system, as it is confirmed by Engadget.

With this technology, users will be able to optimize the use of Cortona. Every user will receive a unique id which they will able to access data like emails, photos, videos and a lot more across multiple storage platforms without switching from one to another. Thanks to this app, users will also be able to surf through personal cloud accounts which will include OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, DropBox, and many more.

Windows Central, on the othe hand, explains the working of this technology in-depth saying that this will enable users to access their personal data with whatever information they can remember. For example, remembering the exact filename will no longer be needed because users will be able to locate any data by remembering whatever little information that they know of it. The feature will also be available on Lenovo's ThinkPad Tablet.

The Cortona feature will be available on regular Windows PC once the Windows 10 is officially introduced; however, using the new ReachIt technology, Lenovo has added an extra ability to this feature giving its users a better experience.

The combined technology will also give users the ability to add a location to their searches that will further simplify their task. Users will be able to just speak and search for the file that they want to increase their options. Simple and vague sounding requests like locating the file made yesterday in the evening will also yield positive results with this new app.

Meanwhile, Cortona is one of the most appreciated features of the Windows phone.
