In spite of this reported news, Square Enix failed to give any comment. It was only successful in fulfilling two third of this news, with only a few months left for the anticipated release date, according to detailed news reports and analysis by The PC Gamer. It is possible that the big announcement will be made at the E3 2015, as Square Enix will be hosting their own press conference at this event on June 16.
This game is the concluding part of the FFXIII series. It is the next in line title to the Final Fantasy XIII-2. They were launched region-wise in 2013 and had only Play Station 3 and Xbox 360 versions at that time.
E3 is going to be a major event for the gamers as a number of new titles and games are expected at the conference. Nintendo is expected to release a few details and news about its gaming console NX at E3, much to the delight of the fans.
The XIII and XIII-2 version are now available on Steam and were there since the last year. In spite of this, Lightning Returns is nowhere to be seen for download. In their recent interview, one of the representatives of Square Enix said that even though there is no official release date for the game yet, fans need not worry at all.
He further said that the date is still in the pipeline and it will soon announced officially. In addition to this, he confirmed that the PC version of "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" is still under development and the developers are taking their time for best results. It only means one thing - Square Enix is putting everything to make the PC version of the game a brilliant one. Gamers are guaranteed an exciting time while playing the game!
