Apple iOS 9 features are the trending topic as the technology giant's new operating system is being touted as one of its best shots till date. Though the new version will hit markets into the fall, gadget freaks got a sneak peek into the OS at the WWDC event.

Apple is getting ready to introduce its all new iOS 9 by the end of July. The next generation operating system is expected to introduce customers to a bevy of awesome features that will enhance the overall user experience. While complete details about the features of this operating system will be revealed during its release, gadget freaks were given a reason to rejoice as Cupertino-based tech giant confirmed that the new operating system will have a split screen facility for iPads, making it easier for those who like to multitask on their Apple devices.

Additionally, the operating system will be available to developers so that they can use it to make more interesting apps. Users, on the other hand, will have to wait till the official release date to experience the features of the iOS 9.

The new operating system will launch, alongside the new iPhones, and will be available as a free update. It is said that Apple has introduced the new features to increase the functionality of the Apple iPads. This will make it possible for users to access two apps at the same time. Other updates to be introduced in this operating system include Intelligence, which is being touted as Apple's version of Google Now. The purpose of this application will be to make information available when the user needs it.

Another feature expected in this update is Slide Over. This feature will enable users to browse through Safari on the left hand side and still allow them to keep their messages open in the right hand side. Even the picture in picture app is something similar as it will allow you to conduct Face Time calls while you continue to browse in the neighbouring window.
