The next generation "Radeon Fury" is in the news because of numerous leaked documents, pointing to a triple GPU release. It also has a number of variants, such as water cooled, air cooled, and the slimmed down version of the card, which are priced at a significantly lower price.
Three main things were leaked about Radeon Fury. It is said that it will be consisting of 64 compute units and almost 4096 cores though the ROP and the TMU counts are still under wraps, as per The Extreme Tech.

Fiji is most likely to increase the count of R9 290X ROPS and 176 TMUs. In addition to this, the rumor about the existence of three separate part variants is also doing the rounds on the Internet lately. It is most likely that AMD will push the core and memory clocks higher. Adding to this, AMD is also expected to introduce the water cooled hardware, in contrast with its earlier range of air cooled variants, according to The Southern Valley News Networks.
Both the air-cooled and the water-cooled variants have a number of differences and it is expected that the new design will appeal to the broader audience.
Next comes the power consumption figures; with the rumor saying that AMD will launch dual 8 pin connector boards in its hardware. These pin connector boards will be capable of drawing up to 375 watts at the wall. It is also rumored that AMD is still not satisfied with this and will most likely make the system even more efficient. Their engineers and designers are working on a more efficient design, which will occupy lesser space and on the other hand, generate less heat.
There is no information available on the lower end GPU which consists of 3584 cores. It is most likely that AMD will be launching a card which will mainly focus on high end variants and not the current chipset. AMD is also rumored to put an aggressive effort in to marketing these cards and also trying to make them cheaper, to meet the high demand and sell off the stock-on-hand.
