Other than this, Samsung users on all carriers are still waiting patiently to get the Android Lollipop 5.1 update on their phones. It is being anticipated to be rolled out sometime next month; however, no specific date was officially announced for the upgrade to reach the Samsung devices.
Android 5.1 Lollipop update will reportedly help the device to perform in a better way and is also expected to fix numerous security bugs. The new android OS also has a number of improvements in the Quick Settings panel that enhances the user experience by a considerable level.
The Chinese tech giant is only concentrating on releasing this upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, for the time being, keeping in mind the huge usage and demand of the device. Not stopping on Android 5.1 Lollipop update, Galaxy Note 4 will also be the first Samsung device to receive the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update, triggering the roll out of the same for other Samsung devices. The Android 5.1.1 firmware patch fixes the issues that were left out in the Android Lollipop 5.1 update.
The 5.1.1 update will enable Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to perform many tasks in the future and it will fix the bugs that were present in the 4.4.4 KitKat OS and it will also incorporate the Guest Mode in the phone, which helps the phone to safeguard the privacy of apps, photos and other media from guest users.
It will also bring about some improvements in the camera of Note 4, enabling users to play around with the exposure settings. RAW image supports and shutter speed control will also be incorporated.
