The "Dungeon Defenders 2" announced its exclusive release on PlayStation 4 while the release window for the action tower defense game for PS4 was officially announced at the PSX event.

The original title of the game arrived for PlayStation 3 when it was released last year, but with a lot of delay due to the fact that the developers wanted to enhance the game to the hilt and offer a great experience to the gamers. Hence, this year the owners of PlayStation 4 can cherish the fact that they will be able to get their hands on the new game quickly, as per Attack of the Fan Boy.

This release will also mark the partnership between the developers at Human Head Studios and Trendy Entertainment. Human Head Studios is known for their assistance in developing the gaming titles like "Batman: Akram Origins" and "Bioshock: Infinite," as per Polygon. They are also known to create their own games such "Lost Within," "Minimum" and "Prey."

The new partnership is expected to take the gaming world by storm because both the companies are stalwarts in their own right. Their collaboration will usher in a new era for the gamers as they both are well known for their design and development acumen, said reports.

"Dungeon Defenders 2" will make its debut for PlayStation 4 at the E3 event this year, which is taking place next week in Los Angeles, California. The game will revolve around the local co-op for the very first time and will also include the four player online co-op play. Fans can expect more maps and enemies in this forthcoming title. In addition to this, they can also expect a host of other content in the game's sequel, which is scheduled to release later this year.

The developers did not give out the exact release date for the launch of "Dungeon Defenders 2" on PlayStation 4, but it is expected to be officially announced at the E3 event.

The sequel to the 2011 game is already available for Windows PC and can be accessed via the Steam Early Access, priced at $24.99. The final version of the game will be free of charge.
