'Sword Art Online' Game News: 'Re: Hollow Fragment', 'Lost Song' English Trailers Streamed Online [VIDEOS]; New Gameplay And Release Dates Revealed!

(Photo : Reuters) The new season of "Sword Art Online" is expected to start from Volume 9.

New updates for the two SAO video games "Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment" and "Lost Song" have be revealed regarding two new trailers, gameplay and release dates.

Gematsu reported that Bandai Namco began streaming to new English trailers for both "Sword Art Online Re:Hollow Fragment" and "Sword Art Online: Lost Song."

Sword Art Online: Lost Song


According to AnimeNewsNetwork, "Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment" is the directors cut of the original game for the PS Vita. It was previously reported that gamers who have already owned the original "SAO: Hollow Fragment" game can transfer all of their game data to the PlayStation 4 version. The game will also receive some improvements in terms of graphics and all of "Hollow Fragments" previous DLCs will be availble within the game.

RPG Fan further adds that "Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment" will be released digitaly in the PlayStation Network on summer 2015 in North America, Europe, Australia and in the Middle-East.

Gematsu also posted a new gameplay video for "Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment" during its E3 2015 presentation as preview of things to come when the game comes out in the summer.


The original "SAO: Hollow Fragment" came out first in Japan on April 2014 and in North America on August of the same year.

As for "Sword Art Online: Lost Song," AnimeNewsNetwork mentioned that the English version of the game will be available during the Fall of 2015 in North America on both PS4 and PS VIta consoles.

"Sword Art Online: Lost Song" became available in Japan for the PS3 and PS Vita in March 26. Kotaku pointed out that gamers can now play as their favorite "SAO" characters besides Kirito, such as Asuna, Lisbeth, Klein, Leafa, Sinon, Yuuki and many more.

Players can now explore the world of Alfheim Online either by land or air as players can fly within the game. There are also new monsters, new magic attacks and new faces such as Rain, Sumeragi, Seven and Lux (DLC character).

Gamers and anime fans will eagerly await the launching of both "SAO" games in the summer and fall of 2015 in there PlayStation consoles.
