Recently, there were many reports revealing Samsung Galaxy security issues in phones and tablets. The mobile phone maker has confirmed that it is taking steps to resolve this issue and hopes to fix the problem soon.
According to a report on CTV News, mobile device manufacturer Samsung has finally responded to the security issue that was highlighted in its Galaxy tablets and phones. The team at Samsung has said that it is actively working to resolve the security issue. The issue hit limelight when reports of vulnerability to data surfaced amongst users doing the keyboard updates on their Galaxy devices.

Meanwhile, Samsung has provided some assurance to the users by saying that in order for the hacking to happen, the user and the hacker have to be in the same network. The invading will be successful only if the network is not secure, which means, as long as the users are operating the device on a secured network they have no reason to fear a hack.
Another report on Irish Examiner said that the reports about the vulnerability were revealed by a security company NowSecure, just a few days ago. Samsung has confirmed that a new update is on its way and will be available in the next few days.
Even the availability of Knox Security on the Samsung Galaxy devices will make it tougher for hackers to invade the network. The Knox enabled devices comes with a password protected feature. Thanks to this password protection, users are able to access two workspaces in one phone itself.
Samsung has also said that users must ensure that their devices are programmed to accept the update to avoid any delay in negating the security threat; however, it is important to understand that the vulnerability of Samsung Galaxy devices exists only in a specific set of conditions. As long as the users are not in these conditions, the hack will not be possible.
As of now, the threat remains evident especially after the details about the exploit went online giving easy access to the wrong type of audiences.
