Good news gaming fans as new updates for Bungie's popular first-person RPG shooter "Destiny" have been revealed, regarding a new patch update and an exclusive new content from "The Taken King" expansion pack.

According to Gamezone, Bungie has launched the new patch 1.2.0.4 update for "Destiny" in the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. The new "Destiny" patch update will have some several small changes within the game such as the distribution of Passage Coins during the Trials of Osiris and new weapons that are found in the "Destiny" demo.

PlayStationLifeStyle reported that the attack ratings of the weapons found in the "Destiny" demo have now increased at 402 with the proper value of 365.

For the Trial of Osiris, Bungie removed the Passage Coins from the Lighthouse chest and gamers will have a good chance of being awarded Passage Coins even if they lose the match. Bungie noted that "Destiny" will be offline for sometime in order to fix several issues for the patch to work properly.

Aside from the new patch update, Gamerant reportedly claimed that Bunigie will add the PS4 exclusive contents of "Destiny" to the Xbox consoles as the gaming company felt that Xbox users are being left out with these impressive new features.

Eurogamer reported that "Destiny" creative director Luke Smith has outlined the plans of putting the PS4 exclusive contents in the Xbox consoles as Xbox users will not just experience the Dust Palace or The Undying Mind, but will have harder versions of these strike missions.

The new "Destiny" contents will be available in the Fall of 2015 as part of "The Taken King" expansion.

It was previously reported that Bungie has showcased several new features for "The Taken King" expansion pack such as new sub-classes for the Titan, Hunter and Warlock, new weapons and armor, and new enemies and storyline which will focus on Oryx and the Taken.

Bungie also revealed that they will have a New Year 1 upgrade for "Destiny" and veteran players will be receiving VIP year 1 rewards, which will include a new shader, new sparrow, new emote and an exclusibe emblem.

"Destiny: The Taken King" expansion will be available on Sept. 14, 2015 for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
