You can now rest easy, BBT fans! The "Big Bang Theory" is set to start taping the first episode of season eight on Wednesday.

Panicking many BBT fans, the July 30 scheduled shoot didn't push through because the stars of the show were holding out for a big pay day.

When the original shoot schedule didn't push through, Warner Bros stated, "Due to ongoing contract negotiations, production on The Big Bang Theory - which was originally scheduled to begin today - has been postponed."

The three main stars, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco, are asking for $1 million per episode, a significant pay increase from the $350,000 per episode each received last season.

Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are also asking for higher undisclosed amounts.

Only Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have ongoing contracts.

According to an insider, the actors' demands are more likely to get met. With a new production schedule in place, it seems that this information will prove to be true.

CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler and BBT's executive producer Chuck Lorre both believe that the stars deserve the big pay increase and that the issue will be settled soon.

Entertainment lawyer, Julian Chan, agreed with the likelihood that the stars will get the pay they want especially since they are negotiating with management as a team. She stated, "What they want is completely reasonable considering the financial success of [The Big Bang Theory]. It's all about balance. The show has proven long-term success and is ensemble-driven, and the balance favors the wealth with the cast."

And when it comes down to figures, the show, which has averaged 20 million in viewership last season, did bring in an average of $326,260 for CBS for every 30 seconds of advertising time in 2013.

For the past three seasons, "The Big Bang Theory" has been the number one comedy series on TV.
