However, it ought to be mentioned that the release date is still not confirmed. One thing which is confirmed is that this will be the first device to run on Microsoft 10, ever. The latest Windows operating system will be also released alongside the upcoming Surface Pro device.

Microsoft recently released another variant of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, which was unexpected. This means that the company is trying to appease the fans with a new model, while they wait for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which is packed with killer specs. Apple is planning to release iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 in the near future and Microsoft may launch Surface Pro 4 around that time to combat their popularity.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is all set to sport a power packed hybrid of features. It will be available in two variants; one will be a 12 inch and the other will be a 14 inch device. Even though the screen size of these variants are different, their screen resolution will be exactly the same.

Both the models will sport a 2K resolution with a pixel density at 2160 x 1440. The 12 inch variant will be powered with a latest fan less Intel chipset and the 14 inch variant will be powered with an i5 and an i7 chipset which will incorporate the latest Broad Well technology. Surface Pro 4 will be equipped with a storage capacity of 1 TB and a RAM storage of up to 16 GB.

It will be priced starting at $1200 and can go up to $2000.
