Firestorm's participation in "Legends of Tomorrow" has been the subject of many questions and theories as to why Garber's character is only included in the series, while his other half Ronnie Raymund (Robbie Amell) is absent within the show.
It was previously reported that "The Duff" star has explained that all of the questions surrounding Firstorms in "Legends of Tomorrow" will be answered very soon, although Garber teased that Ronnie will appear in the show at some point. Amell is currently part of season 2 of "The Flash" and they will begin shooting this month.
Aside from Jay Jackson's transformation to Firestorm, ComicBook.com reported that Hawkgirl's partner/lover Hawkman will join "Legends of Tomorrow," as the show's writer Geoff Johns hinted that he is one of the few characters that they want to appear in the show someday.
Deadline further adds that Caity Lotz's character Sarah Lance, a.k.a. White Canary, will not be the same person after her resurrection in the Lazarus Pit and hinted that she will go "nuts" at some point within the show.
Showrunner Marc Guggenheim stated that the first few episodes of both "Arrow" and "The Flash" will likely build up the show's plot and will introduce these characters during the course of each episode, The Hollywood Reporter wrote.
Guggenheim also teased the time travel aspects of the show as they will likely end in various historical events as Andrew Kreisberg once stated that this only show that deals with these aspects.
"Legends of Tomorrow" is the third spin-off series in the "Arrow" and "The Flash" universe and it deals with Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) recruiting both heroes and villains from the past in other to stop new threat, Vandal Savage from disrupting time and destroying the entire universe.
CrossMaps reportedly claimed that "Legends of Tomorrow" will likely premiere on January 2016 on the CW Network.
