There's another trouble in paradise as netizens yet again speculated that Vanness Wu and his wife are once more at each other's throats. But this time, Wu was the first to hint on being "unhappy" when he posted a "self-designed" poster of his movie "Monk Comes Down the Mountain" on Instagram.

According to reports, Wu posted a promotional picture of the movie with a message in Chinese characters roughly translated as "If I'm not happy when I'm alive, then when else should I be?" Shortly in the wake of Wu's post was Arissa Cheo's Instagram caption that read, "I'm more concerned with who you are behind my back than who you are to my face. Your loyalty shouldn't depend on my presence."

In what allegedly appeared as a reply, Wu subsequently posted, "When you're tempted to lose patience on someone, think how patient God has been with you all the time."

The said heated exchange between husband and wife came just a week after another supposed Instagram argument on July 3. Cheo posted an ambiguous photo with a quote that read, "I may not be completely happy with where I am right now, but I'm grateful for everything I've been blessed with." This was accompanied by a long caption about how she endured years of "lies" and "emotional abuse." The Singaporean heiress has also reportedly called Wu "fake" followed by expletives, which elicited negative reactions from social media users.

To dispel another wave of rumors, Wu declared on the photo-sharing platform that he was merely promoting his new movie and nothing more. He further vented against media for "twisting" his words and stated that he would rather not post anything in the future.

A few days ago, Wu was embroiled in a misunderstanding with Hong Kong media as he allegedly turned angry and shouted "What!" when asked about the status of his marriage. On Facebook, he posted a clarification that his reply was nothing but humorous.

Wu's record label also refused to offer an explanation and insisted that they do not meddle with the personal affairs of their talents.
