Korean Actor Lee Min Ho Visits Japan Minus His Girlfriend Miss A's Suzy

Popular Korean actor Lee Min Ho was in Japan to host two previews of his Korean noir film "Gangnam, 1970," which is set to hit the screens in Japan on Oct. 17. The actor, who is dating miss A's Suzy, was reportedly in Japan without his girlfriend.
Min Ho, who made his big-screen leading man debut with "Gangnam, 1970," was in Yokohama to host the previews of the movie, KPop Herald reported. There were more than 8,000 people who attended the two events, according to the actor's management agency, Starhaus Entertainment.

Japanese media reported positively about the movie, and KPop Herald quoted an official as saying, "the event was the biggest of its kind held for a Korean movie in Japan." The movie is the story about two homeless friends, one of them played by Min Ho, who become part of a gang's plan to sabotage a political rally, according to the film's synopsis.
Meanwhile, Min Ho is preparing to star in a joint Chinese-Korean production, said to be one of the most expensive productions. The action-adventure film, "Bounty Hunters," will see the 28-year-old actor playing a reckless, clever, martial arts character. According to Min Ho, he is a playing a character that he has never portrayed before on screen.
Hong Kong actress Karena Ng has been cast opposite Min Ho who has a huge following not only in his home country, South Korea, but also in China. The film also stars Wallace Chung and Yang Mi. According to Variety, "Bounty Hunters" is the "story of five bounty hunters who chase fugitives for money."
The production on "Bounty Hunters" is set to begin this August, and the movie will be shot in multiple locations, including in China, South Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong. The release date has not yet been announced, but according to reports, it may hit the screens in 2016.
Min Ho, who made his television debut in 2003, first tasted fame when he starred in the hugely popular Korean drama "Boys Over Flowers" that aired in 2009. The drama made him a household name in South Korea and one of the most followed South Korean actors in China. He has also starred in Korean dramas such as "Personal Taste" (2010), "City Hunter" (2011), "Faith" (2012) and "Heirs" (2013).
