Netizens were ridiculing the former EXO-M leader on social media network. Korea Boo quoted one of the posters as saying, "hahahaha at least do plastic surgery in Korea haha," while another poster commented that it was time for even pigeons to get plastic surgery.

Meanwhile, the Chinese singer-actor earlier surprised his fan by sporting a "seaweed" hairstyle. In June, he was wearing this long-hair hairstyle while on his vacation in Paris, France, where he also attended the fashion shows of Paris Fashion Week, according to reports.

On his Weibo account, Kris posted a photo that features a purple version of himself sporting the "seaweed" hairstyle. Korea Boo quoted the caption as saying, "I brought my younger sister to watch a show."

Kris was the leader of EXO subgroup, EXO-M (Mandarin). He quit the group last year in May and filed a lawsuit against EXO's management agency, SM Entertainment, seeking termination of his contract. Since leaving the group, he has signed on movie projects and solo endorsement deals in his home country, China. The court, however, has yet to give its verdict on the lawsuit.

Earlier this month, Kris released a music video for "Time Boils the Rain." The song is an original soundtrack, or OST, from the Chinese movie, "Tiny Times 3." It was Kris's first solo music project after leaving EXO. The OST and the movie were released in July 2014. Weibo Music recorded that "Time Boils the Rain" scored "1 million plays within 3 hours and 25 minutes on its first day of release," according to All KPop.

The music video features Kris, and he can be seen looking dapper in a classy, black suit. In addition to Kris singing the song, the video also features some scenes from "Tiny Times 3."
