So Ji Sub to Go on Diet With Shin Min Ah in 'Oh My God'

Popular Korean actor So Ji Sub is returning to television as a leading man after a gap of almost two years. He has signed on to star in the new KBS Korean drama "Oh My God." He was last seen in Hong sisters' popular romantic-comedy "The Master's Sun" (2013). The actress who has been cast opposite him is Shin Min Ah, who last did a television drama three years ago. The model-actress, 31, starred in "Arang and the Magistrate," which aired in 2012.

The two actors have confirmed their casting, according to Soompi. "Oh My God," a romantic comedy, will see them playing childhood friends who bump into each other as adults. Diet is the foundation on which their love story develops, and together, they will be searching for love and health. KBS has yet to confirm the timeslot for "Oh My God." There are speculations that it might get the Monday-Tuesday slot.
This is not the first time that Ji Sub and Min Ah will be sharing screen space, though they have not worked together on a drama before. The two actors have shot a series of commercials for the international clothing brand Giordano. They have appeared as a couple in these commercials, and in one of them, they have shared a kiss in the desert.
Ji Sub recently guest starred in this year's Hong sisters' drama, "Warm and Cozy." The actor made a brief appearance as Jeju restaurant owner in the premiere episode, and he shared screen time with Kang So Ra, who played the female lead protagonist.
Meanwhile, Ji Sub, who is also loves to rap, has collaborated with Soul Dive to release his new hip-hop music album. The 37-year-old actor's management agency, 51K, announced the release, saying, "So Ji Sub will be releasing a new hip-hop track through various music sites on July 22." KDrama Stars reported that the actor has shot a music video for the album on July 15.
On a previous occasion, too, Ji Sub collaborated with Soul Dive that comprises of three hip-hop artists Nuck, Zito and DTheo. The actor's last release was "18 years" that was released in 2014.
