"Arrow" Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim stated that Sarah's return could be a crossover episode that sets up the events of the first ever episode for "Legends of Tomorrow," and teased that it will be a big one that DC fans have been waiting for.

As seen in the first trailer of "Legends of Tomorrow," Sarah Lance has been resurrected using the Lazarus Pit, which was also used to bring Thea Queen back from the dead. It was previously reported that Sarah could eventually go "nuts" at some point in the series hinting a violent side-effect of the Lazarus Pit, just like in the comics.

Aside from Sarah Lance's return to "Arrow," Den of Geek previously reported that Booster Gold is rumored to appear in "Legends of Tomorrow." Booster Gold is another time travelling hero from the 25th century and is actually the father of Rip Hunter played by Arthur Darvill.

"Legends of Tomorrow" showrunner Phil Klemmer teased that Booster Gold will appear in several episodes within the show and flashback scenes involving Oliver Queen's parents, Fashion&Style reports.

It was previously hinted that Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) could be Professor Martin Stein's (Victor Garber) partner to merge as Firestorm, not to mention the rumored inclusion of Hawkman within the series.

Screenrant further adds that "Legends of Tomorrow" could be compared to that of "Ocean's 11" as Klemmer puts it that the team is composed of misfts with interpersonal tensions and will have to somehow learn to get along with other despite their different backgrounds.

"Legends of Tomorrow" is tentatively set to premiere on January 2016 on the CW Network.
