Popular Chinese-Korean idol group EXO recently held their concert tour in China. The audience targeted the pop idols with laser beams, and EXO-Ls, the fans of the idol group, have expressed their concern about that.

The photos from a concert increased the worry-meter of EXO fans. According to Korea Boo, the photos revealed that a good number of audience members were targeting EXO members with laser beams. The laser beams were reportedly being pointed at the idols' eyes and faces during the concert.

The report said that the fans, after seeing the photos, were quick to point out that the laser beams can cause temporary or permanent damage to eyes. A fan said on Twitter, "it's really dangerous to have laser lights around ur eye area. Please EXO-Ls who are attending the con,pls be careful." Korea Boo reported that as EXO fans vented out and showed their concern, the tag #laser started trending on Twitter's worldwide trends.

The two concerts of the China tour were held on July 18 and July 19. According to SM Management's statement, "the group drew explosive responses from their fans with powerful music and stylish performance." The Chinese version of "Love Me Right" was also introduced, according to KPop Starz.

"Overdose" was the first song of Beijing Concert. EXO members reportedly performed a total of 28 tracks, including "Mama," "Wolf," and "Call Me Baby." And, during the concert, the fans not only pointed laser beams but also shook light-silver glow sticks and made a sign that read "EXO+L♥."

Meanwhile, EXO, which originally consisted of 12 members, is now performing with nine members. The concerts in China were held only a few days before Tao's solo debut. The lead rapper of EXO-M, the Mandarin subgroup of EXO, is releasing his mini-album on July 23. Both he and SM Entertainment have yet to officially confirm rumors that he has left the group, but all the signs indicate that he is not returning to EXO. Lay remains the only Chinese member of the group, which made its debut with four Chinese members and eight Koreans. EXO-M's leader Kris was the first to quit the group last year in May, and later Luhan took the exit route.
