'Pokken Tournament' Update: Arcade Test Locations In The U.S. Confirmed; Growlithe, Bagon, Larvitar Added To The Game?

Good news gaming fans as new updates for "Pokken Tournament" have been revealed regarding arcade test locations and new pokemons joining the game.

VG 24/7 reports that Bandai Namco and Nintendo have planned to release "Pokken Tournament" in the United States in every Dave & Buster's stores within the country.

Kevin Buchus, senior vice president of Dave & Buster's recently made an official announcement via Reddit that they will host the "Pokken Tournament" arcadelocation tests in every branch as both Bandai Namco and Nintendo will also be there to support their video game promotions in the United States, Geeksnack reports.

"Pokken Tournament" is currently out in arcades around Japan along with the announcement of a new Pokemon fighter, Blaziken.


As seen in the trailer, Blaziken fights with a combination of flame attacks and martial arts. Blaziken also uses its impressive speed and agilty to land kicks with raging flame effects which makes it diffcult for other pokemons to keep up with during fights.

Geeksnack further adds Blaziken will be available as a playable character on August 2015, NintendoLife.com showcased a long gameplay video of the Pokemon fighting game.

In other news, new pokemons are also rumored to join "Pokken Tournament" as Destructoid reportedly claimed that Growlithe, Bagon and Larvitar are added as supports characters within the game.

KpopStarz also speculated that Whimsicott and Jirachi are also added in the game. Whimsicott will use substitute to give players a shield dor limited protection. Jirachi on the other hand, uses Wish to increase the player's Burst Gauge during the fight in order to use its signature/finishing move quickly.

"Tekken" creator Katsuhiro Harada once stated that "Pokken Tournament" is not "Tekken" persay and dispel the notions saying that it a pure action game for devoted Pokemon fans, Venture Capital Post reports.

It was previously reported that Bandai Namco will likely develope a Wii U version of "Pokken Tournament" if the fans have wished to so and would possibly work on it this year. Other rumored pokemons joining the game includes Dragonite, Magmortar, Hawlucha, Vigoroth and Heracross.

The official list of playable characters in "Pokken Tournament" includes Pikachu, Charizard, Lucarion, Suicune, Machamp, Gengar, Gardevoir and Blaziken. Several support pokemons are also announced such as Lapras, Eevee, Snivy, Frogadier, Fennekin and Emolga.
