It is still up in the air whether to call Tao ex-EXO or not, as S.M. Management has yet to officially confirm his exit from the popular Chinese-Korean idol group. He, meanwhile, continues to boost his solo resume. Soon after making his solo debut, the 22-year-old singer has signed on the Chinese version of "Law of the Jungle."

Tao has confirmed to be part of the outdoor survival variety program, according to Korea Boo. Previously, he had appeared on the original Korean version of "Law of the Jungle," which first aired in 2011 on SBS. He was seen in "Law of the Jungle in Solomon Islands," the fourth season of the reality show.
SBS and China Anhui Satellite TV have teamed up to bring "Law of the Jungle" for the Chinese audience. The production on the Chinese version is set to begin in September, and it is scheduled to air in October.
This will be Tao's first big TV project after he stopped actively participating with EXO since April. Last month, he established a one-man studio in Beijing, China, to take care of his solo activities. And on July 23, he made his solo debut, releasing his mini-album, T.A.O. He said on his Weibo account that he has finally achieved his dream and is "really" happy.
Meanwhile, soon after Tao's album release, EXO member Chanyeol posted on his Instagram account a message for EXO-Ls, the fans of EXO. He asked them to trust them and that they can now love them at ease. Korea Boo quoted him as saying, "All of you are having a difficult time, angry and even frustrated right? We will give you all warm hugs and comfort you through this, so please just always trust us, watch good things and speak good things from now on."
"You all remember what i said before right? I promise that you will only get to love at ease from now on," Chanyeol added. Along with this message, he uploaded the logo of EXO group. It is being speculated that the message was posted to cheer up EXO-Ls who are maybe hurting because of Tao's decision to go solo.
