Panabaker stated that she was excited to see Caithlin having meta-human powers as well as having an iconic look for the show, having her hair to be a bit longer rather than a pixie cut, having her lips whited out and having a navy blue appearance and having a more sexy outfit.
Auidiences had a first glimpse of Caithlin as Killer Frost in the season finale of "The Flash" when Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) travelled back in time to save her mother from being killed. Barry somehow tapped into the Speed Force and saw possible future events/dimentions and that one of them is Caithlin Snow being Killer Frost.
Aside from Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdez also teased Cisco Ramon's transformation to the superhero Vibe in season 2.
In an interview with Screenrant, Valdez pointed that Cisco will be experiencing some changes within himself, hinting that his powers are slowly developing during the course of season 2. Valdez also explained that the amount of praise from portraying his character commenting that "It was super dope" and that rare for him to represent an iconic DC character to be introduced to Latinos on television.
In other news, there have been rumors making rounds that Robbie Amell will leave "The Flash" TV series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "The Duff" star has joined the cast of "The X-Files" reboot TV series as an agent, alongside "Six Feet Under" actress Lauren Ambrose.
Fashion&Style speculated that this could probably the reason why Amell will not appear as Robbie Raymond in the new DC spin-off series "Legends Of Tomorrow." The website further adds that Amell's character could die in "The Flash," leading the rumors of Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) could be his successor as one-half of Firestorm along with Prof. Stein (Victor Garber).
It is not confirmed whether this is the reason why Amell will not appear in the spin off; however, he did stated that he is still part of "The Flash" season 2 as they began shooting this month.
Barry Allen will also get a new mentor within the show in the form of Jay Garrick and he will be played by "Masters of Sex" star Teddy Sears, Franchise Herald reported.
"The Flash" season 2 will premier on Oct. 6, 2015 on the CW Network.
