According to VideoGamer, the "Final Fantasy 7" remake has been hinted to be released on 2016, due to a photo from Sony's advertisement that features several video game titles going out next year, such as "Just Cause 3," "Mirror's Edge Catalyst," "Dead Island 2," "Persona 5" and many more.

Alhough the photo did not have a specified date as to when will the game comeout in the market, Gamerevolution reportedly claimed that online retailer stores Amazon and EB Games set a placeholder on the "Final Fantasy 7" remake on Dec. 31, 2016.
Interestingly, EB Games featured a "Final Fantasy 7" remake for both PS4 and Xbox One consoles, as previous reports speculated that the game could land on the Microsoft game console after its development within Sony's device
Latin Times further adds that gamers can pre-order "Final Fantasy 7" remake ahead of its 2016 release, as the game will cost around $59.99 on Amazon while $109.95 in EB Games.
In other news, VG 24/7 reported that "Final Fantasy" Director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed some valid information concerning "Final Fantasy 7" remake's gameplay.
According to Nomura, they will bring some "drastic changes" within "Final Fantasy 7" remake, but clarified that it wil not be changed into a shooter or any kind of gameplay style.
Gamerant noted that Nomura still wanted the game to be recognizable ast it was previously reported that Square Enix will carefully develop "Final Fantasy7" remake and avoid some major changes, while staying true to the original, fearing the wrath of gaming fans who liked the old game.
It is further speculated that the combat and gameplay of the "FFVII" remake will be drawn inspiration to the animated CGI film "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children," but Nomura pointed out that they do not intend using 3D technology from the movie, citing it to be a different technology and its been almost ten years since its launch.
Gaming fans will likely anticipate "Final Fantasy 7" remake on 2016 for the PS4 ,and possibly develop a Xbox One and PC versions of the game soon.
