Good news gaming fans as DICE unveils a new teaser trailer for "Star Wars: Battlefront" 2015 along with new gameplay details, multiplayer mode and characters for the game.

VG 24/7 reports that DICE began streaming a new teaser trailer for "Star Wars: Battlefront" 2015 at the Gamescom event this week. The video was posted on the game's official Twitter page as the teaser will feature some starfighter action.

The video showcases X-Wing fighters engaging in a dogfight against the Imperial Empire's TIE fighter squad. Gamespot reported that EA Games will reveal more gameplay features for "Star Wars: Battlefront" on its Gamescom press conference on August 5 Wednesday at 12:30 AM PDT/8:30 AM Germany time.

PlayStationLifeStyle further adds that both DICE and EA Games are planning to reveal a new game mode for "Star Wars" Battlfront" very soon, or it could happen this week at Gamescom if latter wants to. The new gameplay teaser is called the "Fighter Squadron," and judging by the name, it has to do with intestellar starfighters from both Empire and Rebel Alliance engaging in massive battles on the skys or outside of space.

DICE unveiled a new team death match mode called "Blast Mode" as other multiplayer game modes have also been revealed such as "Walker Assault," "Supremacy," "Drop Zone" and "Cargo,"

Den of Geek reportedly claimed that Blast Mode is essentially a 10 vs 10 death match as the objective is to have 100 kills for your team when the 10 minute round is over.

Lead level designer Dennis Brannvall explained that gamers can litterally fight everywhere within the game such as Endor, Sullust or even in Tatooine.

Bleeding Cool reports that each hero and villain character in "Star Wars: Battlefront" has a unique set of skills that players can use to take advantage of against other fan favorite character. An example of these is Luke Skywalker going up against Boba Fett which the developers described as a "cat and mouse" game were Lukes must use his abilities to get closer to Boba Fett while the latter does the opposite.

DICE has retained its rock-paper-scissor mentality in the previous installements and are aimed to be tactical, fun and balanced.

It was previously reported that DICE will reveal a new character in "Star Wars: Battlefront" at Gamescom 2015 as several names were dropped such as Dart Maul, Qui-Gon, Yoda, Han Solo and Chewbacca.

"Star Wars: Battlefront" 2015 is scheduled to be release on Nov. 17, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC.
