Even with the bad blood between SM Entertainment and former EXO star, Tao, it has not stopped the latter from scheduling a concert in his home country China. Reports claim that Tao will be holding a mini concert in Beijing. Tickets to watch the concert are purely by invites only.
The announcement regarding Tao's mini concert in China was made on Weibo. Tao's said concert will open in Beijing, China, on Aug. 23. Lucky fans of Tao will score tickets to the concert through invites.

"Tao's mini concert will be a place where his hard work and dreams regarding music will be gathered," reads Tao's post on Weibo.
Tao's China concert comes as a surprise especially for his fans in Korea. Earlier, Tao requested SM Entertainment to terminate his contract, citing health reasons. Now, reports claim it was due to the unfair treatment. Tao has yet to release his own statement regarding the reasons of his departure.
The singer did however express himself in his latest song, claiming he had wasted his time and had felt loneliness during time in Korea. Tao's reasons are not far from another former EXO member, Kris, who had also left the group in 2014. According to Kris, SM Entertainment "hindered" the growth of his career and that he experienced unfair treatment as well.
Despite leaving EXO, Tao has had no shortage of projects. He has sold more than 670,000 copies since his solo album debut. In fact, he's been roped in for a number of advertisements and interviews. However, there was one interview Tao had missed due to his "hair and makeup."
AllKPop exclusively reports that Tao did not show up at his interview for Sina. The singer had allegedly sent a text stating his hair and makeup was running late, thus could not come at the scheduled time. In addition, Tao also claimed "We're very busy, there are many outlets who are requesting for exclusive interviews."
Of course, netizens reacted to Tao's "attitude." Yet, his manager was quick to quell the reports claiming it was not Tao's fault but his management. Tao's manager added that "Tao is being misunderstood."
