Inspired by the wedding of friend and fellow actor Won Bin with actress-model Lee Na-young, actor Song Seung-heon admitted that he is fascinated with the idea of having a secret or overseas ceremony. For the 38-year-old celebrity, tying the knot with "the one" surrounded only by family and friends is highly possible.

"I hope to be able to follow in Won Bin and Lee Na-young's footsteps and have a flash marriage," Song reportedly declared.

During a promotional event, Song readily talked about marriage and how he looks forward to being with his lady love every day. Just recently, the Hallyu star confirmed that he is dating Chinese actress Liu Yifei. According to the actor's agency, the couple are in the early stages of the relationship and just getting to know each other.

"After wrapping up their shoots (for the Third Way of Love), they were not able to see each other very often. However, they still continued to to keep in touch and their relationship soon began," Toggle quoted Better ENT representatives.

In an earlier interview with the variety show Entertainment Weekly, Song stated that he initially did not want to publicize his relationship with the 27-year-old actress. However, since pictures of them together began circulating the Internet, he decided to come clean. While several sources have claimed that he and Liu have met each other's families, the rumors were immediately shot down by Song's agency, further adding that the couple has not talked about marriage yet.

Fans happily welcomed Song's idea of a flash marriage and said that the pair is likely to have good-looking children. One netizen even urged Liu to say "yes" quickly to Song.

Apart from Won Bin, Song also looks up to fellow "Endless Love" star Bae Yong-joon when it comes to marriage. Song reportedly stated that he "really wants to get married" when he attended the 42-year-old actor's nuptials with singer Park Soo-jin in July.

"Flash marriage" has become a trend in China wherein partners who have known each other for less than a month hurriedly jump into the wedding bandwagon. This is often seen as a representation of changing attitude toward romantic love or a result of pressure from parents who feel that time is running out.
