The video speculated that the new DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" could be an extended storyline wherein it wil focus more on the non-playable characters within the latest installment. Some of the characters mentioned in the possible future DLCs will include Rain, Sindel and Baraka, as these three were heavily hinted to join the game's Kombat Pack 2.
Boon himself praised the fan speculation calling it "an interesting perspective on future 'Mortal Kombat X' DLC" and fans speculated that Boon and NetherRelam Studios are seriously considering a Kombat Pack 2 very soon.
CrossMaps reported that two more characters are being rumored to join the next DLC: Bo'Rai Cho and Kabal, while a previous report hinted that it will be Fujin, Cyrax, Smoke and Spawn. Boon also teased a "Jurassic Park" style Kombat mode pitting dinosaurs against one another.
The Kombat Pack 1 cotained four characters such as Tremor, Tanya, Jason Voorhees and the Predator.
Aside from the speculated DLCs, Product Review reportedly claimed that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of "Mortal Kombat X" could launch on August 31.
While the Christian Post reported that Boon announced that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will be "coming soon," several fans speculated that NetherRealm will be announcing something big by the end of the month and so far, gamers have not idea as to what they are up to at this momment.
Previous reports speculated that "Mortal Kombat X" will be out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 before the end of the year, possibly a November or December release.
"Mortal Kombat X" is currently out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC.
