"Gran Turismo 7" was originally slated for a 2017 launch, but Yamauchi stated that the project release period was "too far away" as he fears that gamers will lose interest in the latets "Gran Turismo" games when they have to wait for too long.
Although the website hinted that "Gran Turismo 7" could still hit the 2017 launch date due to its track record and history of launching its games irregularly.
Venture Capital Post further reported that Polyphony has began "Gran Turismo 7's" development and they have pitched in several ideas such as impact physics and collisions, giving the game a real life "car crash," similar to the current racing games such as "Need For Speed," "Forza Motorsport" and many more.
Yamauchi also teased that new premium cars are going to be added in "Gran Turismo 7" with higher details on its car parts, engines, headlights and interiors. But for those who prefer old school cars, the game creator also hinted that vintage cars are still being implemented into the latest installment.
Aside from new and old cars, Polyphony is also developing new sound effects for "Gran Turismo 7" and Yamauchi promised that the game's sound quality will improve significantly than the previous titles, Realty Today reported.
"I think the quality of the sounds in Gran Turismo 6 will be improved, but most of the work will be done in Gran Turismo 7, Yamauchi said. "The high quality of data that we have been rendered in the PS4, I think it will make an incredible difference."
The website further adds that "Gran Turismo 7" will present a whole new level of gaming experiences for the gaming fans due to its unique gameplay and latest game features. Polyphony has been working round the clock to make the game as impressive as possible to improve its overall quality to regain its reputation.
KpopStarz reports that "Gran Turismo 6" is currently getting a certification from the FIA for the 3D renderings of international racing circuits. Polyphony is holding a special FIA online event to test out the accuracy of the tracks.
"Gran Turismo 7" is speculated to be release in the autumn of 2017 for the PS4 console.
