Ah, smells like teen spirit--or not! It's that time of the year again when fashion critics are just as eager as the wide-eyed youth for who's who at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards (TCA). While many celebrity attendees rocked the vibrant, laid-back glam when they walked the blue carpet, there were quite a few who turned heads for the wrong reasons.

To get the ball rolling, here's Chloe Grace Moretz whose completely opposite-of-fresh black Gucci skirt and oddly placed snake patch on a sheer plunging top were described by Coco Perez as a "Biblical moment" for the rather youthful actress. According to E!, this ensemble successfully landed Moretz on the worst dressed list of TCA for two consecutive years now. Ouch!
Not too far behind was Nash Grier, whose claim to fame was having more followers on Vine than Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Ellen Degeneres. This teenager tried to pay tribute to the decade he was too tiny to even remember with a denim-on-denim outfit, complete with rips and logo patches. Ultimately, Fashion Police (FP) ruled out his attempt to be Justin Timberlake's TCA stand-in as "ugh"-worthy. The 17-year-old vlogger then called out FP for its scathing remark.
"People in the 90's [sic] dressed 10x more free than they do now. It's bullshit media like you that hold them back today," Grier tweeted.
Fifteen-year-old Willow Shields was nowhere safe from the prying eyes with her "clunky striped ensembles" that made E! Online call it "matronly." Speaking of stripes, the pattern also refused to sit well with singer Jordin Sparks as OK! Magazine adjudged her dress as "unflattering." Furthermore, her clumped-on-the-top hairdo seemed to have been an injustice to her luscious ringlets.
Then there's Rena Lovelis, whose Harajuku-inspired goth school girl attire landed her on Hollywood Life's TCA worst dressed list. The "Hey Violet" starlet showed up on the blue carpet wearing bright-colored hair extensions, black shirt, pink plaid skater skirt, and fishnet stockings paired with black lace-up shoes.
But of all the attendees included in any worst dress list, Rita Ora is quite a contention. Her bright red pantsuit was deemed ill-fitted by E! Online, hence her inclusion in the fashion faux pas roster. However, Mirror hailed the 24-year-old British singer as one of the best dressed at TCA.
