Former F4 member Vic Chou has a change of heart when it comes to marriage. Now at the prime age of 34, the Taiwanese actor is no longer keen to put a deadline on when he will tie the knot.

"I had plans to marry at the age of 25 but now I am 34. I don't have a 'deadline' when it comes to getting married," Toggle quoted Chou.

Chou has been in a relationship with 27-year-old actress Reen Yu for a few years now but he has thought about marriage since he was 19 years old. Being with Yu at the time he sees himself to be in "good shape," Chou readily admitted that he considers Yu a "possible marriage partner."

"You are always growing. I feel that my relationship is stable. As for my next step, I want to follow where my frame of mind takes me, Chou told media members during the press conference in June for his movie "Detective Gui."

Although he came from a family with divorced parents, Chou always wanted to give his future children a "complete family." To do so, he plans to take things slowly but surely, and quietly if he may. The silent type of person that he is, Chou admitted that he would want to have a simple and intimate ceremony.

"If one day, both of us think tomorrow is the right day, we may take the next step. . . It's good enough for me to just register the marriage. But we have yet to discuss this," the actor shared during two separate interviews.

One things is for sure, he is not in a hurry. He has also expressed his desire to become a father but with the caution of not having a child before marriage.

"I still want to have a family. It is something that I must do and will do. I am not someone who plans everything out," Jayne Stars quoted Chou.

Despite his thoughts on getting hitched, Chou said he never involves himself in the personal lives of his friends. When asked about the status of fellow F4 member Vanness Wu's marriage, Chou prefers to just be distant and quiet about it.
