'Persona 5' PS4 Release Date Still Slated For 2015; PC Version For 'P5' In The Works After Console Launch?

New updates for Atlus' upcoming Persona sequel "Persona 5" have been revealed regarding its launch date for the PlayStation 4 and a PC version in the works.
According to Movie News Guide, John Hardin, PR manager for Atlus Games, has stated that "Persona 5" will be released this year in both Japan and in North America. Numerous reports cited that "Persona 5" is slated for a 2016 release date due to a leaked advertisement from Sony that features several video game titles such as "Just Cause 2," "Dead Island 2," "Rise of Tomb Raider," Uncharted 4" and many more.

Hardin has disscuss that "Persona 5" is strictly under Atlus and will not be in other video game publishing companies. Hardin as inquired about Square Enix's supposed 2016 retail listing to which "Persona 5" is cited.
"That's just completely wrong. A lot of people assumed that this correct because they [Square Enix] published something from 2008? Its just isn't true," Hardin said. "The only thing I can confirm is that Persona 5 is 2015.
The Christian Post reported that Atlus is looking to prioritize the release and promotion of "Persona 5" in Japan first, while the western release will follow suit right after that, although Atlus assumed that it will happen at a later part of 2015.
The website further notes that gaming fans in the U.S. and the U.K. still strongly believed that "Persona 5" will be arriving this year for the PS4 and PS3 consoles.
CrossMaps reportat that "Persona 5" director Katsuhiro Hashino went on to apologized for the game's recent reports of delay in its development. He urges gaming fans to wait "a littel longer" and once the game is out for the PS3 and PS4 consoles, the long wait will be worth it.
Atlus has already revealed several gameplay details for "Persona 5" such as characters using other long and short range weapons, stealth gameplay as well older features like school and combined assaults.
It was reported before that names and backgrounds each characters in "Persona 5" have been revealed and each character has their own story and agendas within the game's plotline.
In other news, there have been rumors making rounds that a PC version of "Persona 5" is in the works.
According to GamingBolt, Hardin tweeted answer to a fan saying that a PC version for "Persona 5" will not be included in the PC as he described it as "highly improbable."

"Persona 5" will center on four individuals that are students by day, phantom thieves by night as they search for true meaning in a corrupt society and use their own brand of justice.
It was stated that Atlus will be presenting new game details for "Persona 5" at Tokyo Game Show 2015.
